Doris F. Applebaum of Doylestown, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 in the Quakertown Center, Quakertown, PA. She was 80.
Born in Louisville, KY to the late Clement and Doris (Day) Schmidt, Doris resided in Bensalem, PA before moving to Doylestown, PA.
Doris received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Louisville. She was a self-employed attorney and retired in 1999.
She attended mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and enjoyed classical music, opera, ballet, nature and jogging in her earlier years.
She was the loving mother of Lisa Simpson and husband Paul Krut, Nicole Margolit and husband David; dear sister of Jacqueline Pierce; grandmother of Justin Margolit.
A graveside service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery (behind Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church), 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 11:30 am.
