Obituary for William Brucker
William Brucker of Ambler, PA passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020 in Briarleaf Nursing & Convalescent Center, Doylestown, PA. He was 69.
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late William Brucker, Jr. and Loretta (Bille) Brucker, Bill resided in Horsham, PA before moving to Ambler, PA in 1999.
He was formerly employed as a Clerk with Pathmark food store for 42 years, retiring in 2009. Bill was a US Naval Veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed swimming, walking and watching football.
He was the devoted father of Donna Kelly, Joseph William Brucker and Thomas Patrick Brucker; loving grandfather of Zachary James Kelly; loving son-in-law of Kay Bruner; dear friend of Bill and Elaine Fariss, Tony and Mary Medoro, and Lorraine Medoro.
A memorial service will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 1:00 pm. The family will receive their friends from 12:30-1:00 pm prior to the service.
Interment with military honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940 at 2:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 would be appreciated.
