Obituary for Rosemarie Canty
Rosemarie Canty of Lecanto, FL passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 in Holy Redeemer Hospice, Meadowbrook, PA. She was 78.
Born in Essen, Germany to the late Werner and Frieda (Richter) Badorrek, Rosemarie resided in NE Philadelphia, then later Holland, PA before moving to Lecanto, FL in 1997.
She was the wife of the late Laurence A. Canty; devoted mother of Brian (Jessica) Canty, Sean Canty and partner Kathy O’Neil, Renate (Michael) Neifert, and the late Siobhan Canty; dear sister of Karl Heinz (Deceased), Heribert (Deceased), Friedhelm (Deceased) Peter, Hartmut and Bernd Badorrek, and Angelika Laqua all of Germany; loving grandmother of Jayson Canty, Wesley Loyd, Daniel and Hailey Neifert.
A memorial service will be held at St. Bede The Venerable Church 1071 Holland Rd, Holland, PA 18966 on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 10:30 am.
Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
Cremation services were private.
