Obituary for Margaret S. Bingel
Margaret S. “Peg” Bingel of Doylestown, PA passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019 in the Pine Run Health Center, Doylestown, PA.
Born in Newark., NJ to the late Arthur and Sophie (Butz) Steller, Peg currently resided in Doylestown, PA and was a former resident of Flemington and East Hanover, NJ.
Peg was formerly employed as a secretary with the Federal Bureau of Investigation of Newark, NJ and later Hoffman Brewing of Newark, NJ and Burgdorff Realtors of Livingston, NJ. She enjoyed playing Pinochle, quilting, sewing, bowling and doll making.
She was the beloved wife of the late Theophil “Ted” Bingel; devoted mother of Wendy Bingel, Gary Bingel and wife Denel, Alison Walsh and husband Matt; dear sister of the late Arthur Steller; loving grandmother of Emily and Ben Walsh, Lindy and Eden Bingel.
A service will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Wednesday, October 16th at 4 pm. The family will receive their friends from 3:00-4:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
Private cremation will follow.
