Bill C. Metros of Doylestown, PA passed away in Neshaminy Manor, Warrington, PA on Monday, May 20, 2019. He was 84.
Born in Martinsburg, WV, Bill resided in Doylestown, PA for 40 years then moved to Gettysburg, PA for 10 years, before returning to the Doylestown area.
He was formerly employed with Bucks County and was an avid collector of coins and rare books. He would become so knowledgeable, that he was sought out for appraisals.
He loved his late wife Darlene of 55 years very, very much. She preceded him in death in 2014, but he never stopped thinking about her. Bill loved his children, Karen Gillespie and husband William, Billy C. Metros, II and wife Jeanne; dear brother of the late Daisy Kubina and Gene Metros; loving grandfather of Jared, Tess, Dwayne, Ronnie, Jimmy and Kelsey; cherished great-grandfather of Maeve(Mave), Ziyah and Preston.
A viewing will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 am, with a service to follow at 11:00 am.
Interment with follow in Doylestown Cemetery, Doylestown, PA.
