Betty C. Homa of Doylestown, PA passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2018 in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA. She was 88.
Born in Trenton, NJ to the late Stanley and Dorothy (Brown) Root, Betty resided in Doylestown, PA since 2009 and was a former resident of Lambertville, NJ and Hazleton, PA.
She enjoyed crocheting as a hobby and reading the Bible.
She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas Homa, Jr.; devoted mother of Christine Pescatore and husband Angelo, Dorothy Dunn and husband Bernie Sampson; loving grandmother of Brian Hansen and wife Melissa, Christian O’Toole, Krista and Ben Sampson, cherished great-grandmother of Brody Hansen.
A memorial service will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA, 18901 on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 11:00 am. The family will receive their friends from 10:00-11:00 am at the funeral home prior to service.
