Obituary for Douglas E. Marzinske

Douglas Eugene Marzinske of Doylestown, PA passed away comfortably in his home on Saturday, March 4, 2017. He was 85.

Born in Alpena, MI in October of 1931, he served proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War and enjoyed a successful career in sales.

He will be missed immensely, but forever remembered in the hearts of those that knew him. The family would like to thank Doylestown Hospice for their excellent service to help him remain in his home until his passing.

Douglas E. Marzinske, son of the late Gene and Eloise Marzinske, was a loving husband to Mary F. Marzinske and a caring father to three: Karen L. Probasco, Brian E. Marzinske and Jeffrey D. Marzinske. Douglas was also the loving grandfather of two grandchildren, Nathaniel and Aaron Probasco. He was preceded in death by his brother Bob Deyoe and survived by his sister, Barbara Drerup and twin brother Donald Marzinske.

A committal service with military honors will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA on Friday, May 5th at 11:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Douglas’ name can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project – www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate
